Thank you to Rev. Dr. Cindy Campbell for being our guest preacher. See her biography below:

Cindy is a graduate of Barton College, Lexington Theological Seminary, and Wake Forest Baptist Hospital School of Pastoral Care. She was ordained to the order of Christian Ministry in Waycross, Georgia by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Georgia on August 10, 1986.

Cindy has served as a hospice chaplain/supervisor at Hospice of Winston-Salem. Additionally, she has served various churches in Kentucky, Georgia, and central NC as pastor and/or associate pastor alongside her late husband, the Rev. Larry Graham Williams.

Cindy served Mizpah Moravian church for four years as pastor. Currently Cindy is a member of Home Moravian Church in Winston-Salem, where she serves on the mission committee, and as an interpreter of Home Church history for visitors to Old Salem. Cindy was elected at the 2022 Synod to the board of the Southern province mission society. Additionally, she serves on the Board of World Mission. Cindy has served on several mission teams and toured in several of our mission areas, which include, Peru, Cuba, Kenya, Jamaica, South Africa, and Honduras.

For the summer of 2026, Cindy has been invited to serve as Dean of one of the mission camps at Laurel Ridge conference center.

We would love for you to join us on Sunday mornings before worship. Even children are welcome to their own Sunday School Class! Thank you to Matt Pace, Congregational Acolyte, for sharing a lesson on Trinity Sunday with our children. He used a real apple to illustrate his story. We like engaging young people with interactive lessons about God and the work of Jesus.

BINGO & GAME NIGHT – 4/18/26 3-6PM

Join us with the Youth and Young-at-Heart, for an afternoon of games and fellowship! Meet in the Fellowship Building on Saturday, April 18 from 3-6 p.m. for bingo, puzzles, card games, board games, and snacks. There will be something for all ages!

Great Sabbath Service— The Great Sabbath Service takes place the Saturday evening before Easter in Home Moravian Church. This is a musical service performed by members of many Moravian choirs. Easter Sunrise Service— The 254th Easter Sunrise Service will be held on Sunday, April 5, 2026 starting at 6:15am in the Salem Square.  It will be broadcast on WXII TV-Channel 12, aired on WSJS AM 600khz, and live-streamed on www.moraviansunrise.org

NO SERVICE – FEBRUARY 1, 2026

FREE COMMUNITY MEAL FEB. 7TH

Join the Mission & Outreach committee for a FREE CHILI AND SANDWICH MEAL in the Fellowship Building on Saturday, February 7th at 11:30 am – 1 pm. We have rescheduled the original event due to weather. Join us, for food, fellowship, or to help serve our neighbors! To-go bags will be available.

HOT DOG BAG LUNCH, SATURDAY JULY 26, 2025

The Mission & Outreach Committee will be handing out Hot Dog Bag Lunches to anyone in the neighborhood who stops by the Fellowship Building on Saturday, July 26th, 11:30 am – 1 pm. Please join us for fellowship or to help with this event!

ARTS AND CRAFTS FOR A CAUSE!

This Sunday, the CMC Youth began decorating paper lunch bags. At the end of the month, these bags will be used for a service project to feed folks in the West Salem neighborhood. We love getting our little ones involved in Missions & Outreach!
