Christ Moravian Hosts Special Worship Service

Join us September 11, 2014 7 PM
Join us! Thursday, September 11, 2014 @ 7 PM

The Moravian Methodist Dialogue meeting will be held in Winston-Salem beginning September 11, 2014. As a way of including both communities in a time of fellowship and worship a Singstunde will be held at Christ Moravian Church on Thursday, September 11 starting at 7:00 pm. “The Singstunde, or “singing hour”, is a traditional Moravian service consisting of complete hymns and hymn stanzas selected and ordered to develop a theme. In the Singstunde participants proclaim the message of the service to one another in song, each person being both recipient and messenger. This Singstunde focuses on our unity as brothers and sisters, called by Christ, following him as our shepherd and guide, and moving together into the world for service to all.” Please make plans now to join us the evening of Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Christ Moravian Church.

New Ministry Begins at Christ Church

CD
Recordings of worship services are available on CD by request.
Contact the Church Office for more details!

Thanks to the generous contribution of a church member who wishes to remain anonymous, we have upgraded our sound system!  We are no longer recording worship services on cassettes but on a digital media recorder. Following an editing process, these worship services are now available to church members on a compact disc (CD). We plan to deliver these CD’s to our members who are no longer able to attend worship and make available copies to any members by request. Simply contact the Church Office and a copy will be provided to you. Our first recording that will be available will be on Sunday, December 9th.
